Roderick Bley
Roderick is deeply driven to capture the rich
beauty and intricacy, through the rich colors of nature. A passionate
person, he first became consumed with nature photography while living
in western Canada. Rodericks mentors are Fred Perrin and Ansel
Adams, and those influences can definitely be seen in his photographs.
Although the main focus has been in western Canada, Roderick has
traveled throughout western Europe and touched the four corners
of North America, from Alaska to Florida. Over the past number of
years he has started to study the smaller aspects of nature using
a variety of macro and close-up lenses. You don't have to
look far to see God's visual blessings when shooting close-ups,
he says.
Roderick resides in St Paul, MN where he captures
the subtle beauty of the mid-west and the mighty Mississippi River.
